It's the most wonderful time of the year, and if I do say, it's also the best tasting time of the year! The Christmas season is one of my favorite times to be in the kitchen making delicious baked goods for my friends and family. The smell of ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon, and peppermint bring me so much joy and I wanted to share that joy with my doggo.
This winter-inspired Puppachino was created to feature the lovely flavors of Kairos for Dog's "Peppermint Bliss" seasonal toppers. This is a blend of healthy herbs such as peppermint, basil, parsley, and goat milk. Not only is it the embodiment of winter, but it's also an herb blend that helps promote many things like your dog's gut health and better breath.
Makes 2 Cups Whipped Cream
1 cup cold heavy whipping cream
2-4 tablespoons powdered sugar*
1 tsp vanilla extract*
*These can be left out if you will only be using the whipped cream for your pets. However, it is more enjoyable for humans who might eat the whipped cream.
**you can use any herb or topper blend, but they will not have the "peppermint" flavor.
Chill your mixing bowl and beaters in the freezer for 15 minutes prior to making the whipped cream.
Pour the whipping cream into the chilled bowl, followed by the option powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Start mixing on low speed, then increase to medium-high and beat until soft or stiff peaks form, depending on your preference.
Spoon a small serving of whipped cream into a small cup or bowl. Sprinkle with Kairos Peppermint Bliss Toppers and let your pup lick it clean!

While I believe these herbs are beneficial to all dogs of all different lifestyles, you do not have to use these herbs in this recipe. Please note that dairy can give some dogs stomach issues, it's not recommended to give this to your dog all of the time, but can be fun for special occasions.
