Tomb Sweet Tomb Pumpkin Peanut Butter Cups

Spooky season is coming close, but we celebrate all year round, so here's an early halloween treat for you. Tomb Sweet Tomb Pumpkin Peanut Butter Cups are a doggy-take of the ever treasured Reece's Pumpkin Peanut Butter Cups. They only use 3 simple ingredients and are super easy to make. Your pup will be sayin' these treats look good enough tomb eat!

I use these treats as an easy way to give Dracula his daily Kairos for Dogs Topper and Herb supplements. Kairos for Dogs creates simple healing foods and effective supplements for dogs. No hidden ingredients. No nonsense. Just foods we can feel good about.  To learn more about the healing power of herbs for dogs, check out their website. Makes 1 Tombstone Silicon Mold Tray  (8 treats)

INGREDIENTS

5 Tbsp pure pumpkin puree

4 tsp Kairos Toppers or Herbs of choice*

4 tsp all-natural peanut butter

*Kairos herbs are always optional, but are beneficial to your dog's daily health.

DIRECTIONS

In a small bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree and the Kairos herbs until combines. The Mixture will be lumpy. Divide half of the mixture into your molds, making sure that the bottom is fully covered.

Spoon about half a teaspoon of peanut butter into the center of each mold. Try not to get it on the edges, or the peanut butter might melt out. Place the mold in the freezer to set for 30 minutes to an hour, or until the peanut butter if hard to the touch.

Once the treats are solid, seal off the peanut butter by dividing the rest of the pumpkin and herb mix into the molds. Be sure to cover the peanut butter completely so that it doesn't seep out. Freeze until solid.

Each of these paws will have approximately 1/2 tsp of Kairo’s powder and just under 2 tsp of pumpkin.
